Recover your library
This page reads your books directly from Arweave and decrypts them in your browser. Bookish's servers are not contacted at any point. Nothing you type leaves this tab.
What is this page?
Bookish stores your reading list, encrypted, on Arweave — a permanent storage network. The keys that decrypt your books are derived from your credentials. This page exercises that property directly: given your account key (or username + password), it downloads your encrypted books from a public Arweave gateway and decrypts them locally.
You can use this page even if Bookish is offline, even if Tarn's servers are gone, even if the company is gone. As long as Arweave is online and you remember your credentials (or kept your account key), your library is recoverable.
This page is fully self-contained. Save it to disk and you can open it offline, from any browser, indefinitely.
How would you like to sign in?
Your account key is the 24-word phrase you saved when Bookish first asked you to back up your account. It is the durable, password-independent way to recover. Paste it below — words separated by single spaces.
Advanced: Arweave gateways
Arweave is a network of independent gateways. We try them in order; if one is down, we move to the next. The defaults are fine. Override only if you know a specific gateway is healthier right now.
